This week on Wall Street all eyes were on the earnings release for Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT). Aside from that, the major Wall Street Indexes hit new all-time highs.
Let’s take a close look at AMAT
On Thursday, August 13th, Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT) released its Q3 2026 earnings report, with top-line revenue of $9.12 billion, up 25% year-over-year. This record quarterly revenue was due to soaring global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure
Here’s how the Q3 revenue broke down:
Semiconductor Systems: $7.04 billion (up 27% year-over-year)
Applied Global Services: $1.78 billion (up 22% year-over-year). This segment provides comprehensive support, maintenance, and optimization services for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Looking ahead, the company’s outlook is bullish due to the unprecedented surge in global AI infrastructure investments and exceptionally long customer visibility.
Once again, Wall Street is witnessing extreme revenue growth in the software and semiconductor segment. And once again we are seeing institutions taking profits from a stock that has risen over 97% year-to-date.
Like other AI stocks AMAT is highly volatile, but it is a leader in AI infrastructure and I see the stock continuing to rise over the next 24 months.
