As we head into the final week of Q2 earnings releases, I wanted to list some of the winners so far:

Apple, Inc. (AAPL)

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT)

Visa, Inc. (V)

The Walt Disney Company (DIS)

Alphabet, Inc. (GOOG)

Historically the last two weeks of August tend to be a period of low volatility, as most major Wall Street institutions tend to be in vacation mode.

I expect volatility to pick up after Labor Day.
