This week’s rally on Wall Street hit the breaks on Friday, July 11th, after President Trump stated on Thursday his plans to impose a 35% tariff on Canada starting August 1st, as well as blanket tariffs of 15% or 20% on most trade partners.
Although Trump’s push to reorder the global tariff system doesn’t seem to have countries lining up to negotiate with him, Wall Street has seen cracks and some pullbacks due to the continued uncertainty.

Over the past 5 days, Apple, Inc. (AAPL) traded between a low of $207.29 and a high of $215.83.
Over the past 5 days,Oracle Corporation (ORCL), traded between a low of $230.01 and a high of $240.23.
Over the past 5 days, Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST) traded between a low of $965.71 and a high of $995.87.
Next week marks the beginning of the Q2 earnings period with all eyes on S&P component, Netflix Inc. (NFLX), whose earnings are scheduled to be released on Thursday, July 17th.
