Fast Money Blog- 7/2/26

This was another short week on Wall Street, as we head into the July 4th weekend. We still saw lots of volatility in the stock market as investors took profits before the holiday. 

I’d like to turn your attention to the latest reshuffling of the Nasdaq-100 Index, as 5 new stocks were added on June 22nd.  This quarterly rebalance reflects the market's continued shift toward AI, semiconductor infrastructure, and aerospace innovation.

Stocks Added to the Nasdaq-100:

  • Astera Labs (ALAB) - is an AI infrastructure company.

  • CoreWeave (CRWV) - provides data centers and AI computing capacity.

  • Nebius Group NBIS) provides data centers and AI computing capacity.

  • Rocket Lab (RKLB) - A fast-growing space and satellite company.

  • Teradyne (TER) - is an AI infrastructure company

Stocks Removed from the Nasdaq-100:

  • Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR)

  • Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ: CTSH)

  • Insmed (NASDAQ: INSM)

  • Verisk Analytics (NASDAQ: VRSK)

  • Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS)
