Fast Money Blog- 6/26/26
It was a volatile week on Wall Street marked by a major tech sell-off, escalating AI cost concerns, and ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
In other news, it was announced that Verizon Communications, Inc. (VZ) is being removed from the Dow Jones Industrial Average and is being replaced by Alphabet Inc. (GOOG) This adjustment is being done to expand the Dow's representation of technology-related industries. Investors will see the change take effect on June 29th, 2026.
Don't be surprised to see the market experience a holiday slowdown as we move towards July 4th. It is typical for investors to take profits ahead of a holiday.
